Christine Allan is teaching Swedish Weaving

Christine graduated from LaSalle College in Montreal with a degree in fashion design. For the past 10+ years, she has owned and operated her own dressmaking business but has now changed her direction with the introduction of Swedish weaving. She is bringing this lost art form back to life with a modern twist.

"Spring Garden Table Centrepiece" is a three hour class suitable for all levels. Rediscover the wonderful art of Swedish weaving while making this lovely table centerpiece on 4x4 monk’s cloth. Once called huck embroidery, this craft is fun and fast to do. In this class you will learn some basic stitches with easy to follow instructions and charts. Table centerpiece finishes approximately 22” x 10½”.

Class registration information to follow. Visit Christine's website at www.funandfastpatterns.ca.
